Amanda is an instructor, writer, and occasional stand-up comic with a passion for technology and terrible taste in movies.

She has created and taught courses on topics including new media, film, digital storytelling, public relations writing, screenwriting, and diversity in media. 

​

At home in Arizona, she volunteers with the ALS Association and cares for her dad, who was diagnosed in 2014. She loves hiking, travel, and trying new hobbies.
